This is a very special Chincoteague pony. I bought her a month before my father died from a brain tumor to make our dream come true of owning a Chincoteague Pony. Her name is Taj and she is one in a million. I have been working with my trainer to train Taj for the last 5 months and this is her debut at her first dressage show in Training Level Test 4. Her training is coming along nicely, though we still have more work to do. I was thrilled with her at this show. (Taj would like everyone to know that she would much rather be out on a trail ride

This video is about the rider’s position, it covers the many levels to a correct position. “Hi Im Sheila with everyday rider and today were going to talk about the riders position With riding in general there is a training scale; perhaps youve heard of the German riding scale. Rhythm, suppleness, contact, impulsion, straightness must all be obtained in that order to achieve collection in riding. Well the rider should have a scale as well, and without proper foundations the rider cant achieve correct position. It begins from the ground up, deep heels, draping calves, loose knees, strong heavy thighs, absorbing hips, strong core, open chest and shoulders, giving hands and balanced head can create the ideal rider, a collected rider if you will. You cannot build a house on weak foundation, however if the foundation is strong the levels become endless.
